Question: Anyone else feeling some retaliation coming when PIT visits the Garden next week.?
( Back )
Answer #1:
if they run at them they will be suspended i am sure....the hit was NOT intent to injure....Answer #2:
I halfway expect Cooke not to be playing due to suspension. I think with Cooke out of the picture, that'll relieve some tension. Just out of curiosity, who would be doing the retaliation?Answer #3:
Will Jack Edwards laugh like an idiot when there's a dirty retaliation hit?: Click HereI have seen so many Bruins fans cry over the past two days.
I'll make Jack Edwards eat his own words in saying "Cry me a river!"
Answer #4:
The league will provide a suspension. This guy is a repeat offender and should be out for 5 - 10 games. Retaliation is not the thing to do when they are try to clean up the game from unsuspecting hits like this one.Answer #5:
r u suggesting that looch or thorns will relatiate against cooke? i agreeAnswer #6:
I think Boston needs to focus on winning so they can get into the playoffs. Retaliation can wait until the playoffs (if they meet) or next season...The only way I see anything happening is if there is a blowout in the favor of the Pens...Answer #7:
With the Bruins fighting for a playoff spot, they should be focused on that rather than getting "revenge" for that hit. They shouldn't risk players getting suspended.Answer #8:
They won't do anything over the top violent... if they see Cooke (if he even plays in that game) out there someone will get him if he wants to go... or they will hit him legally if he's in their sights... but other than that nothing else is gonna happen.Going after Crosby is stupid, he didn't do anything, that is knuckle dragger caveman b.s... that is not Boston Bruins hockey, not even way back in the day was that the case... that is bully hockey which is not being big and bad...
Otherwise nothing will happen, unless the refs let this game get out of hand too. Then you'll see some retaliation... but the way the Bruins are all banged up and barely hanging onto a playoff spot they can't afford suspensions and such and forth fr instigator penalties... which is what would have happened if they went after any Pens in the final minutes Sunday... Boston fans need to realize this b/c they don't seem to realize the fact that this is a new era and its not the 70s or 80s or 90s and there is an instigator rule now and that you don't have to finish in the top four in yr division anymore, you have to finish in the top 8 of yr Conference... I live in the Boston area and all I hear are people who think its 1970 or 80 or 90... the B's need the points and they need all their guys b/c they lost Savvy and Chara now and Lucic is playing hurt and there are some other guys that are playing hurt too...
