*How much fruit and veggies should a 5 pound rabbit and a 1 pound rabbit have in one day? I've been giving them around 1 cup each day of some fruits and a lot of veggies.
*My 6 month old bunny (Dwarf Hotot) has an eye infection (Which we are treating), but I think his teeth are messed up. Yesterday his teeth got stuck on the bars of his cage (His top two teeth, then he couldn't get loose). I quickely helped him, but I think his top two teeth are like behind his front two. Also, isn't eye infections caused by teeth problems? I just noticed this about 2 days ago.
*What makes a good bed for a rabbit?

Does the story of Adam and Eve imply that God wanted to keep people in a state of ignorance?
According to people who take the Bible literally, it was the sin of eating from the tree of knowledge that caused this big mess we have today. Now, once Adam and Eve ate of the fruit, God got furious with them and cast them out of the garden. Why he would put a tree there, knowing that they would eat of the fruit is beyond me, but accepting it for a minute, does that imply that all they had to do is remain ignorant to be happy and make God happy? Why was was it so important to God that they not have knowledge of good and evil?So, is that what God wanted, simple creatures who, like small children, didn't have knowledge? Was he afraid that, given that knowledge, they might see him in a way they didn't like?
Symbolically, the story is very interesting. But, literally, I just don't get it. Is all of the senseless violence a result of knowing good and evil? Couldn't creatures who DON'T know the difference be more likely to do wrong?
For example, my dog, whom I get along with very well, doesn't really get the difference. He kills things, seemingly for pleasure. His only "knowledge" comes from our training him. He is very innocent, yet from the perspective of the animals he kills, must seem evil.

If God is good, why would He sentence Adam, Eve and their descendants to Hell on Earth?
God is constant, never changing.If God was good, He wouldn't have cast Adam from the Garden for being tricked into eating the fruit by his wife. I don't blame him for being hungry and thankful for his new helper and eating whatever Eve gave him. In the Bible Genesis version, God harmed the human race by separating Adam from Himself. In that version, God sentenced mankind to Hell on Earth and eventually Manhattan traffic jams. Does this paint an accurate picture of God? Definitely not. God loves mankind.
It would solve the riddle of the location of the Garden by realizing we're still there. Yes, the Garden is right here. Look what man has done to it. It would solve the riddle of an angry God to say that Adam rejected God and literally walked out of the gates of Heaven all on his own power. Now we're in the Garden without God's mercy. The spinning sword thing is just the gate to Heaven and it's still there today.
God wants us to be reunited with Him. Do you see how Adam is the prodigal son and he represents us all? We're all fragments of Adam and we're crying out to God to show us the way back into Heaven because we lost our way back in.
Jesus was a perfect picture of normal life. He was in the Garden of Eden as he walked the Earth. And all of this took place in the East because that's where life originated.
One way of getting back into Heaven is to start healing each other so we have world without end. Another way is to remove all stresses, such as Manhattan traffic jams. There is a way to get those gray cancer spots off the Earth too. Tree-houses! No nails, but only rope to hold the boards. If the tree grows, just give some slack to the rope. It's good to be around trees all the time anyway. And then we wait for God to light up the entire planet.

harvesting cucumbers- damaged fruit?
I just harvested my garden and I noticed that the cucumber (that I was letting mature) was damaged. It split open, too much water maybe. Anyways, there was a few bugs in the openings, so I had to cut them out. I put the whole cucumber in an air tight bag- but what should I do? How do I deal with an out-of-control compost pile?
Hi!I'm looking for some advice on how to deal with my big mess of a compost pile.
We just moved into a house in southeast PA and the local trash service does not collect yard waste, so we inherited two large compost bins full of yard waste. The bins are at least a few years old, so one would think that by now there might be some gorgeous, yummy compost in there somewhere, but no...all we have is a whole lot of very slowly decaying woody trimmings, piles of weeds (many with seed heads...yikes!), and tons of grass clippings that take up at least half of one bin. From what I understand about composting, this mix just ain't good. ;)
The bins are made of wood and chicken wire. They're about 5' wide x 5' deep x 5' tall each with boards nailed all around the bottom up to 3 feet off the ground...so no getting to the compost easily even if there were some. The chicken wire runs around 3 sides of each bin with the 4th side left open, and they are overflowing with yard waste.
Basically, it just looks like a big mess. Thankfully, there is an absolutely gorgeous wisteria vine covering the entire side of these bins that faces my house, so at least we have a nice view. Can't say the same for the neighbors, though. :P
So can I do anything to fix these compost piles and end up with some decent compost to put on my garden next year? I know it needs aeration, but I can't see how I will possibly be able to turn it at all with the bins being enclosed at the bottom and filled to my eye level. Any suggestions?
Also, our garden next year (fruits and veggies) will be grown using entirely organic methods and products. If the yard waste in the pile was treated with chemicals while it was still living and growing, will those chemicals be present in the compost??
Maybe I should just have the entire contents of the bins hauled away and start from scratch. :P

A lot of the summer, I have been trying to wake up early and do yoga or meditate because it just. . . is nice . I'm reading all of these nice stories that take place in summer and in spring. All of these articles on the computer and in magazines about fresh veggies and fruits from your garden, they all remind me of summer and spring ! but fall and winter and coldness and sadness feels like its just all coming really quickly and I have no time to prepare. I have been trying my hand at canning my garden fruits and veggies, canned grapes today and I have made jams and conserves in the past but my family eats those up with in two weeks of me making them so I never worry about them going bad. But the more I learn about canning the more nervous I get that if I dont eat my canned goods promptly that I could give my family botulism! The Epic of Cat Poop...I NEED SERIOUS HELP!?
Hello! I had the cutest Siamese kitten in the entire world a year ago but had to give her to a friend for several reasons; one of those (well not the most main reason but still) was POOP!I spent like almost 2 years of researches about litter training/toilet training and other ways to keep away cat litter.
And tried first and most popular one: cat litter! it was easy to train her as they are extremely smart and she started doing the job in the box from the very first day, but the smell was awful and would spread in the whole apartment although its a big one (as u all know, cat poop got one of the worst smells). I tried all kinds of litters I found to hide the smell or delay it's insane effect, but all litters remain for 1-2 days and BOOM.
About Toilet Training, I guess it won't work for me for many reasons; 1-I have only 1 toilet in my apartment and I can't just prevent myself from bathroom just cuz I'm spending weeks or maybe a month to train my cats, specially that I'm going to bring a single Caracal and Serval and not spaying/nuturing them as it's haram in my Religion and I personally consider it inhuman, so they will a lil bit become 4-6 cats and they cant all share one toilet, ALONG WITH ME LOL!
And no worries about their numbers, as it's also haram to specially raise cats for trading them as lifeless goods, so it will be easier to find homes for them as long as they r free (only to caring people tho).
But I thought of something that most people complain about: cats doing the job in gardens! I actually liked the idea! constructing a large "Soil Container", place the soil and TADA! a litter paradise? D: .. would that work? and is it possible for plants to grow in poop? I heard that human/animal/bird poop is useful to fertilize plants or something, and if it does, would it be safe if some plants or fruits somehow grew up in that "soil container" thing and eaten safely by them? or the toxins in their poop will affect the plants and kill it's own producers? and would indoor cats actually get any toxins or deceases in their poop? I mean they r away from like 90% of the outdoor deceases..
I also heard about another type of litter (just lately heard about it) that it covers the smell in a good way and doesn't need to be replaced! all I do is remove the poop from it and the litter itself will never be plagued by the poop's smell? (sorry to mention the word poop too much,wait I just mentioned it again...) does that type of litter actually exists?
